Avnet (AVT) Prices $300M Note Offering

Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) has announced the launch and pricing of its offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 5.875% Notes due 2020 in a registered offering. The offering is expected to close June 22, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions. Avnet intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the securities for general corporate purposes.

The offering is lead-managed by Banc of America Securities LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.
