Financials continue to outperform the broader market. The financial sector is up 3.8 percent as represented by ETF Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE: XLF). The broader market is up 2.6%. The sector is being led by Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), which is up 6.8% after selling a large chunk of its China Construction Bank stake.
