iShares MSCI Japan Index (EWJ) Slumps
Despite the overnight rebound in the Nikkei, shares of Japanese ETF iShares MSCI Japan Index (NYSE: EWJ) are sharply lower today. The much-followed ETF last traded at $9.62, down 4.1 percent on the session.
Nuclear headlines continue to dominate the action with a warning from the EU energy commissioner of an "apocalypse" with "worst in the hours and days to come." In addition IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said he plans to travel to Japan calling the situation "very serious."
