CAI International, Inc. (NYSE: CAP) announces a public offering of 2,703,356 shares of its common stock, of which 1,351,678 shares are being offered by the Company and 1,351,678 shares of which are being offered by Development Bank of Japan Inc. and Mr. Hiromitsu Ogawa, CAI International’s founder and Chairman. Total value on the offering is $30 million.
The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 65,422 shares of common stock from the Company and 340,082 shares of common stock from the selling stockholders to cover over-allotments, if any.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. will act as joint book-running managers for the offering and Piper Jaffray & Co. will act as co-lead manager for the offering.
