Wintrust Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WTFC) announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 4,500,000 shares of common stock.
Wintrust intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 675,000 shares to be offered to cover over-allotments, if any. The shares will be issued pursuant to Wintrust's automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission today.
