Like Obama, Summers Makes The Case For Stocks

In a speech today delivered at the Brookings Institution, President Obama's top presidential economic adviser Larry Summers said America will emerge from the economic crisis more prosperous and better prepared. Summers also echoed President Obama's recent comments about the low value of the stock market. Summers said the Dow, adjusted for inflation, was trading at the same level early this week as it had in 1966.

Summers also said the problems the economy faces was not created in a day, and will not be solved quickly.
