Cramer Prefers Dollar Tree (DLTR) to Dollar General (DG)...Carl!

December 7, 2011 7:41 AM EST
Jim Cramer thinks Deusche Bank likes to save money, just not that much.

According to a tweet on Twitter from the boisterous market bull (his @JimCramer handle):

"$DB has never been to a $DLTR or they would have upgraded that and not $DG, Carl! Better merch, same low price!"

This was in response to Carl Quintanilla's (@carlquintanilla) tweet about this morning's upgrade of Dollar General at Deutsche Bank, citing accelerating traffic.

So, Carl, get your stuff together. Skip the Dollar General (NYSE: DG) for once, and try out a Dollar Tree (NYSE: DLTR). Make Cramer proud.
