Visa (V) and Mastercard (MA) Lower On Concern Over Legislation

Shares of Visa (NYSE: V) and Mastercard (NYSE: MA) are both down over 4% today on concerns regarding potential government legislation.

Some of the talk centers around comments from Senator Dodd that he will propose legislation to "substantially modify" the credit card interchange fees that retailers pay.

In addition, Barney Friday released draft legislation to create the Consumer Financial Protection Agency today.
