Jefferies initiates coverage on CONSOL Energy (NYSE: CNX) with a Buy. PT $62.00.
The firm said, "CONSOL's current valuation, in our opinion, fully discounts a bearish outlook for coal demand and prices. In particular, little value seems to be placed on CNX's exposure to the robust export market." The firm also said little value is being assigned to the company's growing gas business.
