Atmos Energy Increases Quarterly Dividend

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE: ATO) said today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend increase on the company’s common stock to 34.5 cents a share. The indicated annual dividend is $1.38. This is the 24th consecutive year that the company has increased its dividend.

The dividend will be paid on December 12, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 25, 2011. This is the company’s 112th consecutive quarterly dividend.
