GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dollar General (NYSE: DG), one of the country's leading discount retailers, was recognized by the U.S Chamber of Commerce for its military veteran hiring efforts at the 4th Annual Business Steps Up: Hiring Our Heroes event on Nov. 10.
