Fitch Updates Insurance Broker Rating Criteria Report

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fitch Ratings has updated its criteria rating report 'Insurance Broker Rating Criteria.' This criteria report updates and replaces a report titled 'Insurance Broker Rating Methodology' dated Dec. 27, 2010. The ratings in Fitch's insurance brokerage portfolio are not affected by the update.

This criteria report is a subsector report under Fitch's global master criteria report, 'Corporate Rating Methodology,' published Aug. 12, 2011, and addresses how unique characteristics regarding brokers' operating and financial profile are considered and applied in the rating process.
