Helping to shape the future of industry-standard benchmarks

SYDNEY--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- To further cement its reputation as an expert in competitive server performance comparisons and to help guide the future of industry-standard performance benchmarking, Ideas International Limited (IDEAS, ASX: IDE) has joined the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC). Becoming a full member of SPEC will allow IDEAS to:

• Interact with a broader group of benchmark-related specialists
• More closely track key issues impacting measuring server performance
• Help shape the future of industry-standard performance benchmarking and reporting

Daniel Bowers, vice president and senior analyst, and the lead performance analyst at IDEAS, said, “As an independent analyst company in a membership that is mostly vendors, IDEAS will focus its efforts on using SPEC performance benchmarks for independent comparisons of competing products.”
