TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 27, 2011) - Members of the media are invited to attend an event to celebrate the successful completion of the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund and thousands of projects across the country.

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, and Bernard Trottier, Member of Parliament for Etobicoke-Lakeshore, will join Cesar Palacio, Toronto City Councillor, Ward 17-Davenport, on behalf of His Worship Rob Ford, Mayor of the City of Toronto, Dr. Alok Mukherjee, Chair, Police Services Board, and William Blair, Chief, Toronto Police Service, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Toronto Police #11 Division. Toronto Police Acting Superintendent Peter Lennox will also be in attendance.
