SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Obscene Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Obscene Jeans Corp. (OTCBB: OBJE), announced today that its latest acquisition target, A-Plus Technologies (A-Plus), has initiated talks to co-develop a new social media crowd-funding platform.

Last week, A-Plus opened talks with SoKap Community Networks Inc. (SoKap) to co-develop a platform called Traktorbeem designed to help entrepreneurs raise funds, build markets and sell products and services. SoKap’s current platform is a social utility created to accelerate big ideas in movies, music and publishing. Traktorbeem is the next generation of the technology that would capitalize on SoKap’s crowdfunding experience in the entertainment industry and expand the model into new industries.

Crowdfunding is poised to revolutionize the way companies raise capital. By combining social media with investor sentiment and market trend analysis, Obscene Interactive could help usher in a new era of online fundraising.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed the Entrepreneur Access to Capital Act (H.R. 2930). The bill is now under review by the Senate. If passed, the legislation could be a huge win for small business and job creation in the U.S., potentially allowing entrepreneurs to crowdsource online up to $2 million per year in investment capital directly from individuals without having to register with the SEC.
